Birkenhead City Cricket Club invites you to an evening of cricket and learning

Our free educational evening about umpiring will help you become a better umpire for juniors or as a player/umpire umpiring your own game.

Community Umpiring – understand of the laws of cricket and how to umpire a match. It’s for:

  • Parents and supporters;
  • Players of all ages;
  • Potential umpires
  • Anyone who wants to enjoy involvement in cricket matches.

Former Test umpire Doug Cowie presents an interactive evening at the BCCC Clubrooms, encouraging you to take the first step to enjoying involvement in our summer game. You can help our cricket being played more honestly by becoming a Community Club Umpire or a better Player/Umpire.

The evening is a fantastic opportunity to prepare you for umpiring your team or your junior club games. Or maybe you would just like better information on umpiring and the laws of cricket.
