Junior cricket started November 1.
Premier men’s cricket started on October 11, other senior grades on October 25.
One day grades, U18, Y9/10, 1st Grade women and all junior cricket starts!
All junior hardball cricket starts. (Note: Because of the growing strength of the Birkenhead and Northcote College cricket teams this half of the season there is no U18 and y9/10 for BCCC as the colleges are playing afternoon cricket (ie a higher level). This is great news. The 1st Grade women would usually start today but have not entered a team this season.
Season playing dates are here for all grades from juniors up.
Senior A, B and C cricket begins.
Not such a good day at the office for the Premier men’s side who were well beaten by North Shore. Auckland Cricket’s match report is here. And the very sad scorecard is here:
This week, November 1 it’s off to East Coast Bays. See the Premier draw here for CricHQ.
However the Senior A1 and C1 had wins.
Senior A1 (last year’s Reserves) beat Howick Pakuranga. See A1 results and fixtures here.
C1 easily dispatched Suburbs. See C1 fixures and results here
Senior B1 lost to Waitakere on October 25 but play at home this week against North Shore (November 1) See fixtures here
Senior B3 also lost. Their fixtures are here but they obviously haven’t yet mastered scoring on CricHQ.
